Our Dental "On-The-Mark" Laboratory In Westchester NY

Throughout the history of modern dentistry, a dental lab has typically been outside the office for most dental professionals. Completely removed from the practice itself, it stood as third party establishment, often out of town or even out of the country, servicing multiple dental practices and completely disassociated from the clinical side of restorations.

As a Prosthodontist, Dr. Steven A. Brisman has always believed in the importance of quality restorations. One of the highlights of Advanced Dentistry of Scarsdale has always been our state of the art, on-site Dental Laboratory, fully staffed with qualified technicians and expert ceramists who work daily with our dental team to bring new smiles to life.

Our newest dental laboratory, “On-the-Mark”, is named after Dr. Brisman’s late brother Mark, who was tragically lost on 9-11.  The spirit of and commitment to excellence as portrayed by our lab continues to bring customized restorations for our patients, as we have for over 20 years.

In 2019, Dr. Brisman has re-imagined and re-focused our in-house lab with a migration towards a digital work flow. "On The Mark" laboratory has a revolutionary new approach to in-house prosthesis fabrication, designed to become the new GOLD STANDARD for dental restorations.

Dr Brisman has created a dental lab setting that blends the “old-world” artisan technician with the digital CAD/CAM designer and engineer.  The newly evolved team works side by side with Dr. Brisman and the entire clinical staff, merging analog and digital technology to deliver the best and most efficient possible outcomes for our patients.

As technology has evolved, so has the ability of dentists and technicians to utilize new methods when creating optimum restorations for their patients. We are now able to leverage the latest technologies and highest quality materials available to create high quality, customized prostheses exclusively for our patients.

Instead of the familiar intraoral impression or "goop" process, our dental lab technicians can now implement the use of comfortable and fast digital "impressions." This not only makes the impression process more comfortable for our patients, but helps to ensure each prosthesis is of the highest possible quality and provides an optimum fit.
