The science of orthodontics focuses on straightening and aligning the teeth. Orthodontics is necessary to protect the teeth from problems like dental decay, soft tissue damage, and fractures. Crooked teeth are more likely to break, slice through the soft tissues of the cheeks, and collect plaque and tartar.
As Advanced Dentistry of Scarsdale’s resident orthodontist, Dr. Frank Celenza offers several services. These range from traditional braces, space maintainers, and retainers to Invisalign, and ongoing treatment of orthodontic issues.
Periodontics focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of gum disease. It is an ailment that affects one in two adults throughout the world. Periodontics centers around a careful understanding of oral anatomy and dental disease. This is why specialists are uniquely qualified to place dental implants.
Both Dr. Loshak and Dr. Celenza specialize in periodontology. They help patients with a wide range of issues including missing teeth, advanced dental decay, and severe oral infections.
When smiles need to be rebuilt, prosthodontists are the experts you will want to turn to. These specialists restore form and function to smiles with tooth loss, advanced decay, and receding bone tissue.
Dr. Brisman and Dr. Calagna are Weschester prosthodontists who care about perfecting your smile. They love helping patients to enjoy teeth that work and function perfectly.
