Patient Coordinator

Patient coordinator Isabel is unendingly busy – besides coordinating patient appointments, she answers phones, unravels insurance issues, and keeps a smile on her face the entire time. Isabel’s story is a familiar one – an associate’s degree and a part time job at a dental office turned into a lifelong passion, and she now boasts 34 years in the field.

"I’m outgoing, so the best part of the job for me is the patient interaction I get to do on a daily basis!" says Isabel. She remembers hating the dental office as a child, and does her best to ensure that her patients don’t feel the same way. "Dental health is so important, and people don’t realize how it impacts their overall health," she adds.

When she’s not ensuring that patients are taken care of, Isabel enjoys downtime with her family in Eastchester, and loves relaxing on the beach with family and friends. She cites her mother as inspiration, admiring the way she raised five kids and got through hard times while remaining positive and loving. Isabel says her own greatest achievement is her family, which includes her son and two stepchildren.
