Dental Hygienist

As a registered dental hygienist, Elena’s day is patient-oriented from start to finish. “My job provides me with the unique opportunity to positively impact each and every patient I see over the course of the day,” she says. “Working at Advanced Dentistry of Scarsdale allows me to practice my art in an uplifting, high tech environment, where the level of care is just outstanding!”

Originally from Ridgefield, Connecticut, Elena followed up a Bachelor’s degree in Science with 8 years in the dental industry. “I always loved going to the dentist as a child,” she relates, adding “I had a complete fascination with the tooth fairy!” Elena says the biggest misconception people have about the dentist is that it is automatically going to be unpleasant.

When she’s not making sure her patients leave the dental chair in better shape than when they sat down, Elena is spending time with her spouse and family, preferably at Candlewood Park or an away location. She says that her idea of a perfect year would definitely be spent traveling around the world.
